UI/UX for Web

Desktop view, www.7health.netDespite clever design elements, the site didn’t advertise the biggest strength of the business: that you could walk into a lovely brick-and-mortar facility and receive low-cost medical care, regardless of pre-existing conditions.

My friend Bryan Holladay gave me great advice starting out on the Great Web Overhaul of 2020:

“Think of it like a franchise,” he said. “When I look at your site, I need to know that there’s a building I can walk into and get medical care, no matter if I have insurance or not.”

When I worked for 7Health, a Direct Primary Care clinic in Frisco, TX, I decided to overhaul their website. Their business model was as compelling as it was compassionate: low-cost medical care for a monthly fee, regardless of any pre-existing conditions.

“You should be telling people, ‘No insurance? No problem.’”

So I got to work.

I built every page to reach busy people:

  • I switched the URL from .net to .care

  • I arranged for professional photos of the staff and clinic

  • I optimized SEO and added CTAs and quick-text and call buttons for the entire site, then tied them into the existing phone system

  • I set up texting within our business phone plan (an extremely popular option with patients 20-45 years old)

  • I connected Facebook/Instagram Messenger to our social media accounts and directly to our website

  • I set up messaging in our Google Business account

  • I updated our Google Maps listing to include updated photos of the clinic and a click-to-call button

  • I built landing pages in Wordpress for potential 7Health patients and prospective physician partners and monitored engagement

  • I built a lead sheet of independent practitioners across Dallas/Fort Worth by cross-checking across multiple data sources

Here’s their website today:
